This is the Armageddon grindcore disk, and also my swansong.
I, Daoloth, made a grind/noise disk in 2000, and it was ok.
But I wanted more. More grind, more noise, more violence.
So, Armageddon: Crush 2.666 was planned. At first I was going
to record 25 songs, 18 originals and seven covers. But those plans
were soon discarded.
I decided to invite a few people to participate with two songs
each, and make maybe seven or eight myself, then unleash the beast.
However, I mistakingly revealed this "secret" project on the Messy
Board, and soon decided to make it an open project, and I raised the
participant songlimit to five, and made other styles than just pure
grindcore available to participate with.
Many submissions came in the first two weeks, then I was away from
the internet for a month, and some more had dropped in while I was
away.
